"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think this page needs examples, especially since the amount of wicks is pretty high. It should be sorted by the HSQ amount.
Edited by WhatArtThee Just another day in the life of Jimmy Nutrin Hide / Show RepliesNo, that's a bad idea. It's an audience reaction, sorting it by some arbitrary number isn't going to work.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhen did this get moved back from HSQ to Holy Shit Quotient? I thought cusses in the title weren't allowed.
Evil is my favorite color. Hide / Show RepliesYears ago, it seems.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. It's a subjective trope. What might make one person go "HOLY SHIT!" may make another person just go "okay then"
A lot of subjective tropes have examples; while it's very understandable for tropes that may cause a lot of controversy and are hot-topic issues (like politics), something as light-natured as impressive moments should be fine.
Heck, any entry in a Crowning Moment of Awesome page is subjective and sometimes gets commented on. But it's never a big deal.
Badass, for example. Or Anti-Hero types. Or Complete Monster. Etc.
Watching an episode of Inuyasha Final Act had me thinking that there should be grades from 'Meh' to 'Epic' based on the amount of sacred poo per episode. What do you think? I think if I dried all the HS from episode 17 I could light a holy fire and ward off vampires with it. Err... I know it would still be subjective but it would be easier to talk about.
