Is the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse correct? While the montage of Peter B's life did mention both Aunt May's death and the divorce, to my recollection the film makes no mention of a connection between them, Peter B states at multiple points that the reason for the divorce is that MJ wanted children and he was afraid of the idea of fatherhood. I may be wrong, there may be tie in stuff or even something in the film that I missed, but as I understood the film, it doesn't fit this trope.

I haven't seen Spider-Verse since it was in theaters, so I trusted that the person who gave me that entry was correct. If you feel it isn't, by all means remove it!
