"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI just realize how weird it is that we consider anime to be a different medium than western animation when the Japnese themselves don't.
I mean, the folder for Anime on this page is "Nippon no Anime" and the folder for western animation is "Seiyou not Anime". I mean, by this logic, shouldn't we have a category for French animation, and for Canadian animation, and for Djiboutian animation?
Evil is my favorite color.I have corrected all the folder titles. Now for the love of all that's normal and decent, don't do that again. It's not funny, it's not cool, it's a bloody mess, and extremely frustrating to read through.
Hide / Show RepliesI'm not going to put it back myself, but given the archived discussion and a Made Of Win which was repeatedly seconded, you should recognize that this is just your opinion.
Productivity is for people without internet connections. -Count DorkuAaaand some idiot's changed them back.
Look, this sort of thing is fine when the names are actually still recognizable, like on Blatant Lies, but this is just annoying and makes examples almost impossible to locate without having to open all the folders.
Edited by TheMalignancyOoh, yeah, making them into actual Japanese is going a bit too far.
Productivity is for people without internet connections. -Count DorkuI'm tired of you TRS people labelling anyone with a sense of humor as "idiots". OH, NO, YOU HAVE TO OPEN A FOLDER TO ID THE TROPES YOU WANT!!11ONE It hasn't bothered anyone else except BTI up there.
Actually, the only troper here with even a tepid connection to TRS is Haven. It would seem that their poor reputation precedes them. Somehow I am unsurprised.
I've posted an actual TRS topic in the hopes of getting a clearer consensus on this issue than some old Made Of Win archives. Barring that, any who wish may vote in this crowner.
See you in the discussion pages.Well, I tried changing them according to something a bit more comprehensible. Any improvement?
See you in the discussion pages.
