This Troper wants to try getting into first-person shooters, as he enjoys FPS games that are like RP Gs, such as Fallout3 or Borderlands. However, a lot of FPS games are best played online in multiplayer, which leaves him worried, as he has played multiplayer FPS games before, and has failed horribly at them. So he always fears that one day, he'll play an FPS online, and someone who doesn't tolerate new players or players who perform poorly will kick him from a match, thus causing him to Rage Quit preemptively.

The wiki no longer collects Troper Tales, even on discussion pages, which is prettymuch what you've just put. Go to hte forums to get reccommendations or whatever, not here.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
Question, I'm showing my age here, but... where exactly could we use the term 'Doom clone'? It's a rather vintage one from USENET which basically came to mean FPS the same way.
