The razor wheel weapon may have been based on a real weapon system designed for the {{Cold War}}. It was a large metal ball dropped form an ICBM. They would be dropped by the hundred and would roll around, propelled by rockets motors inside. THey would go in random crazy directions then explode. It was judged to be too crazy and expensive.
