On the baroque opera thing, I'm not particularly sure that all basses are evil. If you count that as baroque Seneca in l'Incoronazione di Poppea is not evil at all, and Pluto in L'Orfeo as well. Stern but not evil. Then in true baroque, Eneas (although it's more of a high baritone) is an idiot to the bone but I doubt he qualifies as evil. As well in Purcell, characters such as the Cold Genius, the Drunken Poet... are far from evil, so I'm not really sure we can make a generalisation here.

"flamboyant, possibly evil Batman" is actually a great summation of Lelouch. Thank you, whoever posted that.

"On Game of Thrones, Tywin Lannister is played by Charles Dance, and has a Badass Baritone voice that makes him sound twice as serious and menacing as he would be otherwise." Probably he's the most dangerous guy in Westeros. If he sounds twice as menacing than even the dead will be afraid of him.

Cut this, but probably only temporarily until it's clear what's going on here.

The correction should've been folded into the original example, but it's not clear whether this would still be an example/a subversion when the correction is taken into account. Could somebody familiar with the comic clear this up, please?
