There seem to be two conflicting tropes coexisting here. Those who are imprisoned because they cannot conceive that they may be free. Those who are imprisoned because they haven't realized that they are.

Does another trope exist for the first?

Scratch that, i was misled by the first paragraph that focuses on the first case. But the title actually covers both in that it takes an epiphany (albeit of opposite) nature to escape.

What is the lead quote on the page from? "I can't fly!" "Have you ever tried?" I noticed that it was not attributed to anything, so I'm just curious where it came from.

I'm just here to clean up grammar and syntax on some niche pages.
