Maybe I am slow on the uptake, but I fail to see what this quote has to do with Epigraphs. Pulled.

Re: the other quote—The actual Joe Queenan quote would be much preferable to a quote that talks about the Joe Queenan quote. If anyone happens to know the original words of Joe Queenan, please feel free to replace the current page quote.

I have to remove the claim that Philip Pullman's Spring-Heeled Jack "is the first work ever to include an epigraph from itself". Check out Thus Spoke Zarathustra for starters.
