There's a bit of an issue with this trope: many of the entries are about Emperors who happen to be scientists, but of the regular kind - in a kind of technocracy.

This trope though talks about them having to be a Mad Scientist.

Would it be worth taking to TRS, or something else?

The final sentence of the introduction — "As a final reminder, this trope applies where a character attains supreme power through their superior knowledge or The Spark of Genius. Literal Emperors who also happen to be scientists (and there have been a couple) are Royals Who Actually Do Something." — seems to have fallen by the wayside in the "Real Life" section.

Cut all the real life examples.

Let's just say and leave it at that.

That final disclaimer: Can it be removed, please? This trope CAN be played literally, can't it? Also, perhaps someone should add a picture of either the Emperor of Mankind or Baron Klaus Wulfenbach?

Hopefully this picture will suffice. The Scientist element is clear and the outfit beneath the labcoat suggests the Emperor aspect
