It doesn't really seem any less fantastic. I agree that it should be redone.

Yeah but Tropes Are Flexible. Sometimes a story may be hard historical fiction or have a few fantasy elements blended in, or the time travel is an excuse to show the past events this way. Maybe the definition should be less speaking in absolutes.

This page appears to have two Laconic pages, one of which is under the misspelled "Demythtification". I don't know how to delete pages nor do I think I have that ability, I just wanted to make it known. Regardless, thanks and have a good day! ^__^

Is Transformers: The Last Knight an example of the Arthurian legend?

"A form of Adaptational Mundanity that takes a legend and reveals what 'really' happened by stripping all the fantastic elements out of it (or, at the very least, rendering them Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane so that they do not have to be fantastic)."
The more I think about it, the more I feel that robots, time travel, psychic powers and Sufficiently Advanced Aliens do not come under the category of "stripping all the fantastic elements out". I don't know if we should rewrite the description to say "or given a sci fi gloss", or remove all the non-mundane examples.
