- The battle droids from the Star Wars prequel trilogy are established in Expanded Universe lore to be based on the skeletons of the Neimoidians who originally designed them. Of course, to every other species, they just look and act silly, but just think of skeleton-shaped robots that constantly make jokes about each other's demise...
Is this implying that the droids are a) reanimated corpses or b) made out of Neimoidian bone matter? Because if not, I don't see how this fits. The Terminators have humanoid "skeletons" and they're not here.
