Should creatures that obviously aren't any Real Life species be in the examples for nonrealistic eyes? I mean, they evolved on a different planet.
Also, in the case of "missing scleras": There's a possibility that the animals do have scleras but they're just normally not showing. Rabbit scleras◊ are usually hidden under their eyelids, their irises are that big. It'd be weirder to see a rabbit drawn with visible scleras.
