Also, in the case of \\\"missing scleras\\\": There\\\'s a possibility that the animals do have scleras but they\\\'re just normally not showing. [[http://www.bunny-rabbits.com/rabbits.jpg Rabbit scleras]] are usually hidden under their eyelids, their irises are that big. It\\\'d be weirder to see a rabbit drawn with visible scleras.
