I think we need a new intermediate page to encompass all the IDW G1 comics, seeing as they have significant character overlap and interconnected continuity.

I believe Teletraan-1 may have had wasted potential. The episode "Attack of the Autobots" seems to play him as more of a proper AI than just a voice-activated computer system. I once wrote a series of Teletraan-1 monologues detailing thoughts about his possible sentience. He questions whether or not he is sentient, and if he is, what caused it. All the while, he's nervous about letting the Autobots see this side of him.

YMMV on this, but in the last issue of the first "GI Joe vs. the Transformers," by Devil's Due Publishing, Optiumus Prime defeats Megatron, who'd had the point that "Power and Force wins the day." Optiumus replies, "I'll contemplate that while you're being disassembled." He rips off Megatron's Fusion Cannon, adding, "Starting with this," and mounts it on HIS arm.

The Solar Powered Satellite (SPS) has at this point become a Kill Sat, and he'd overheard Mainframe needing something with enough power to knock it out of the sky. Once he verified it, he went, "Good. Because I have acquired the appropriate tool for the job..." and holds up an Energon Cube, adding "As well as the appropriate fuel to feed it."

Using his sniper abilities, Optimus uses the Cannon to blow the satellite out of existence.

He then tells Megatron, "I've been thinking of what you said, Megatron. About power and force." While Megatron tries to regain his bearings, Optimus goes, "And in your case, I've decided..." Megatron then gets backhanded with "...you might be on to something."

And? So? Therefore? YMMV on what? You didn't list any tropes, or make an argument, you just summarized what happened in the comic. What are you getting at?

I don't know how to attach a forum thread to a page, but there's been some discussion on how to clean up this page a bit: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=12963997860A86449700

Not sure what tropes these are but i noticed several things often attributed to later series to were there in g1 We have the Evil Prime Clone (Scourge/Black Convoy) OR Stunticon Motor Master (he's even a black Semi), take your pick. "Crerilian crystals," glowing unstable crystals that can destroy electronics on touch (Energon Crystals anyone?) The Spark AKA "Laser Core" Megatron is always demanding they extinguise to insure Prime is dead dead. Special Powers: Ironhide and numerous others have unique skills specifically called "special Powers" by the Autobots. (Starscream's null ray, Skywarp's teleportation, Elita 1's duex ex machina, etc) Not sure where to put this but in Hoist goes to Hollywood one might paint the director as crazy but look at what happens, his stunts are sabotaged, he has explosions and Decepicons destroying everything and he only blows up ONCE (when Rumble tries to kills the Autobots with a bomb and nearly collapses the entire studio). And still he finds a way to fit all these problems into the film and make the damn thing work. I don't know many directors who could turn their studio being turned into a warzone into a working film.

Neko, I'm not sure what your comments have to do with the tropes present in the series. We aren't conducting an in-depth plot analysis in this wiki. Also please work on your grammar; you're very hard to understand.

They just seemed relevant since alot of people seem to think they originated in later series.

Isn't IDW and Dreamwave considered part of the G1 timeline? Most TF-pedias do point in that direction.

Sort of. They are both considered part of the G1 "family", though they're their own separate timelines from the cartoon, Marvel, Classics, Kiss Players, Wings of Honor, etc. (Basically, G1 has a LOT of series within it.)

What in the heck is Kiss Players and why is it relevant to the cartoon? If it's some kind of oddball fandom, its tropes don't belong here.

Kiss Players is a rather... infamous canon/official Japanese addition to the Generation 1 continuity (which covers far more than just the cartoon).

I'd say Kiss Players would qualify as a separate Transformers incarnation which is in continuity with the G1 cartoon, if it existed.

Maybe give it its own article, then, because seeing tropes about Transformer porn in the Gen 1 cartoon page makes me reach for the Brain Bleach.

It could get its own page if anyone's brave enough to write it.

It'd still have to get at least mentioned here, though, since this isn't the "Gen 1 cartoon page", it's a page for Generation 1 as a whole, of which the cartoon is only one part, and of which Kiss Players is another part (unfortunately).
