They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: THE REMAKE. Ironically, the movie is at its worst when it tries to do something 'original' (actually a series of huge clichès). Even more ironic when you realize how bare-boned the original plot was, which underlines what a failure the remake is.

This is incredibly flame-bait worthy and nothing more than just bashing. Unless someone can re-word this into a more neutral stance, it'll stay deleted.

Setting Location

Is Army of Darkness really meant to be set in England/Europe or is it deliberately left ambiguous? I always assumed it was meant to be somewhere in Crusader-held Middle East (I know the Crusades were over by 1300AD), which would make a lot more sense considering the filming locations. Nothing seems to confirm this though, so that's probably just unintentional fanwank on my part.

Hey, could someone tell me why Comic-Book Time was removed? It really seems like this series is a good example of an inversion.
