Far from the ace canon claims he is, an analysis of Bakugou's track record shows him to, in practice, be a terrible fit for heroics due to his inability to handle civilians. While he understands he has to save them, he prioritizes other things above their safety in a pinch, and is verbally and physically aggressive to them besides. Aizawa argues in his Heel Realization that a student would have to be "literally incompetent" to fail the rescue portion of the Licensing Exam, but Bakugou did it, and without the excuse of Inasa bothering him like Todoroki.
