Yeah, it absolutely did not. But yes, "scrub" as a pejorative definitely applies. The Punny Name entry absolutely needs a rewrite.

I know video games have a longer history than many people think, but did the meaning of "scrub" in the video game sense exist in 1978? (I think it's derived from an earlier meaning as a second-(or lower)-string athelete, so the pun still works, but it's a different pun.)
