Should we rewrite the Necron section, especially given their new rumoured background?

I think that we should hold off on a rewrite of the Necron section just yet. Wait until the new Necron Codex is out before we do that, as we should not add things based on pure speculation.
Further, we already have a precident of mentioning older versions of the fluff that get retconed out. We might as well do the same with the Necrons, just adjusting it to add on the new fluff and note the change from one to the other.
Well the Codex is out, and it pretty much outright contradicts the information in the 3rd edition codex. For example the exact reasons for the War In Heaven (give the Necrontyr empires something to fight against to unite the previously squabbling dynasties), as well as to why the Necrons went dormant for 60+ million years (no longer the Enslavers, the Silent King orders all the necrons to go dormant and wait out the Eldar). And that's not the end of it. It's the usual Wardian carte blanche change to the background, so I'm not sure why we should even be surprised at this point...
I foresee a slow wave of edits over the next few weeks...
