Should we move the Groots to a separate page?
Peace is the only battle worth waging.Okay, why are we undoing all the character-specific pages for all the Guardians except Star-Lord, Rocket and Gamora? It's kinda frustrating to navigate when some characters get their own pages and others have to be lumped together on this page.
Trust no one. Hide / Show RepliesBecause the page sizes of Star-Lord, Gamora, and Rocket Raccoon have already exceeded 40,000 bytes. There's a quite recent rule in TV Tropes that a character will receive their own individual page once their folder size is at least 40,000 bytes. Once the other Guardians earn more and more tropes due to their subsequent appearances in upcoming MCU media, they will have their own individual pages.
Okay, but why undo their character pages if we know they're just going to get more tropes and subsequently exceed that size? That just seems like a waste of time and effort.
Trust no one.Because as of now it is still quite uncertain if the other Guardians will have their folders exceed 40,000 bytes (Variants included). So the best thing to do now is wait until the time does come for the other Guardians to have their own individual pages.
Should we have a separate entry for Baby Groot? Word of God is that they're not the same character, and that the Groot from the original really did die.
Hide / Show RepliesVision now has a subpage that features three different versions of the character. So maybe Groot can have his own subpage that features the original Groot from the first GOTG and Groot II?
Does Yondu really need a separate page?
I mean, it is rather short. For comparison, Cap,Thor,Spider-Man,Ego,Bucky,Coulson,Strange have pages that are twice as long, and Tony Stark,Thanos,Loki - more than trice as long.
An argument can be made for Drax and Rocket who will feature in future films. But Yondu is a dead secondary character who won't be making any new appearances (maybe a flashback in A4, if we are lucky), so "reserving" a page for him in advance (like it was basically done for Black Widow or Black Panther) is not needed. I'd consider merging it back.
Edited by Asherinka Hide / Show RepliesIt feels kind of early to label Gamora as "killed off for real" as her character page does. I don't think that we'll have a conclusive answer on that until the next film comes out since it's pretty much confirmed that several characters will be resurrected and time travel will be a major factor in the plot. Her appearance in child form at the end of the film, presumably caused by the soul stone, as well as the confirmation that her actress will be appearing in at least two more MCU films (Avengers 4 and Got G Vol. 3) also complicates matters quite a bit. My current understanding of the trope is that a character death needs to be confirmed, in-story and even better if there's Word of God backing, and 100% irreversible.
Three can keep a secret if three of them are fed. Hide / Show RepliesFor all we know, it is irreversible for now. First Law of Resurrection still applies ) I'd keep the trope you mentioned. If they bring her back, we can always delete it in a year.

Is someone going to replace the image of Adam Warlock's pod with an actual image of him?
