I\\\'m aware the article mentions that the villain still has to be considered a villain, but that\\\'s not the same thing. For example, I love Two-Face in most incarnations and know he\\\'s villianous and morally wrong. I don\\\'t go and argue his innocence, but i also find his plight tragic, and don\\\'t hate the character. I feel you need to cheer when this character is brought to justice for it to be this trope. For me a real example would be Hans Landa from Inglorious Basterds.
