  • Broken Base: Her Trine 2 videos may have caused one, due to an ingame character whose being fat is Played for Laughs and Zoey finding it amusing. Some Tumblr blogs promptly sent her messages accusing her of fat shaming. After her subsequent (and very tearful) apology, while more or less everyone commended Zoey for trying to be nice to her fans there were concerns that she was being bullied.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Despite being one of the smaller channels, Zoey undoubtedly has one of the more devoted fanbases amongst the Yogscast, and even Yognau(gh)ts that don't follow her content have many positive things to say about her.
  • Fan Nickname: Known as "Zoey Drunkasheck" during the livestream, in which Zoey tends to drink a bit too much.
  • Friendly Fandoms: Primarily with Rythian and Kim Richards, who are very supportive of her and collaborate with Zoey frequently. It helps that Kim has an LGBT Fanbase as well.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: This video, mocking (among many other things) the idea of her doing facecam while playing games. Come 2015, and she's done a livestream that eventually involved exactly that - though sadly, horror games were not involved. Also qualifies as Heartwarming in Hindsight, as she used that gag due to being certain she would never appear on camera due to her intense anxiety.
  • Ho Yay: In anything featuring her and Fionn, due to them being an Official Couple.
  • LGBT Fanbase: Unsurprisingly, Zoey has a very devoted LGBT+ fanbase due to her being lesbian, transgender and very supportive of her fans.
  • Memetic Mutation: "Fionn". Fans have taken to putting any mention of Fiona in quotation marks to jokingly imply that she's not real. Fiona loves this.
  • Misaimed Fandom: Upon hearing that Fionn and Zoey were going to an LGBT+ pride parade, some fans planned to hold an unofficial gathering to meet her. While Zoey seemingly understood that this misguided plan was well-meaning, she begged the fans not to do it as it would only worsen her social anxiety. Mercifully, the so-called unofficial gathering seems to have not happened and the parade was apparently a success.
  • Mis-blamed: At least one user has had a go at Fionn for swearing, with negative comparisons to Hat Films... even though in a stretch of videos, the number of swearwords Fiona had used was precisely zero. Fans were entirely unamused, particularly fans of both her and Hat Films who felt the casting shade was unnecessary, and even Zoey seemed unimpressed.
  • Never Live It Down: Zoey usually keeps her channel fairly family friendly, but on the very rare occasions when she makes an innuendo of some sort she is suddenly victim of Flanderization by the fandom, with a few making her out to be a total pervert despite this not being the case. This is particularly annoying, since many Yogscast members do the same on a much more regular basis.
    • Thankfully the fandom has stamped this out in general, calling out the critics by pointing out the Double Standard and also the Unfortunate Implications of only hating the openly LGBT+ member the moment she does anything sexual.
  • What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: While Zoey is the most family friendly of the Yogscast (bar the new Conquest channel, which is designed purely with that demographic in mind), even she has her moments by focusing on more mental health issues (which can be an issue for children but doesn't come up in as many family-friendly works, for better or worse), as well as the odd horror game and things such as a modded version of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind).
