- Adaptation Displacement: Not many people remember this show, but even fewer people remember the graphic novels it was originally based on. A big part of it comes from the fact that the comics, along with their creator, got Screwed by the Lawyers, while Cookie Jar Entertainment had zero interest in a copyright they've inherited by accident.
- Awesome Music: The theme song, especially at the end credits. It makes it almost irresistible to want to learn those guitar riffs!
- Funny Moments: A classic anvil gag gets lampshaded in "The Trial of Anna Maht".
- Harsher in Hindsight: One of the final lines of the series is annoyed Quest complaining about the Reset Button Ending with "This quest will never end". The series was cancelled before the episode even aired.
- Ho Yay: Lord Spite and General Ogun's dynamic is full of this. They even have an anniversary party of the day they first met in one episode.
