- Children Voicing Children: Landon Norris, the voice of 13-year-old Prince Nestor, wasn't much older than his character at the time.
- Disowned Adaptation: Jason T. Kruse, author of the original graphic novels, is not fond of the show for reasons explained below under Executive Meddling and What Could Have Been.
- Executive Meddling: Jason T. Kruse was completely shut out of production of the series after Kids' WB! handed his pitch for the show over to Cookie Jar Entertainment, causing him to lose all rights to the original graphic novels to Cookie Jar.
- Screwed by the Lawyers: The fate of the original comics, as a result of Jason T. Kruse losing the rights to the source material to Cookie Jar Entertainment, who have since done nothing with it
- Screwed by the Network: Only aired its' first season on Kids' WB!, as it was one of the last shows on there before the block went defunct.
- What Could Have Been: Jason T. Kruse originally signed on to adapt his graphic novels as a TV series in the US and had been promised full control over it. However, Kids' WB!, for whatever reason, couldn't afford to produce it at their own studio so they made him outsource the show to Canada's Cookie Jar Entertainment (who they had worked with on Johnny Test), which resulted in Kruse losing all rights to his work and allowing the Cookie Jar team to do pretty much whatever they wanted with the source material without any input from him. At the very least, Cookie Jar gave him credit as Executive Producer.
