  • Angela Johnson, Edward Lampard's loyal servant, for her development when she partnered with Moroha. Many fans wonder if she's better off with him than Edward. Some might even prefer her over Shizuno.
• Moe: Maya Shimon, the young prodigy, and Moroha's closest and most loyal friend and roommate. Her Woobie status in episode 11 of the first season of the anime adds on to this.
• Rescued from the Scrappy Heap: Satsuki gets far better later on as she begins actively training to stop being The Load, and demonstrates her Cool Big Sis side to Maya.
• The Scrappy: Satsuki Ranjo started off as the most disliked member of the general cast because she was an obnoxious loudmouth that couldn't keep her mouth shut. Even people that are fans of her general character archetype couldn't stand her. That is, until...
• So Bad, It's Good: The animation contributed to the rise of the QUALITY meme. That said, the errors and inconsistencies make the show hilarious to watch.
• The Woobie: Try finding someone who doesn't feel sorry for Maya Shimon in episode 11 of the anime when she discovers that Moroha's return from Russia has been delayed even further. Up until then, she slept alone in their room, and she'd cry every night. You can't help but want to hug her.
