• Awesome Music: Nyaw, a Nintendo Hard chart with impressive DDR-style charting that also became memetic after an update that made Boyfriend meow during part of the song.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Kapi's belief that Girlfriend would be a better match for him instead of Boyfriend takes on much more weight in his cameo Guest Fighter appearance in Times & Tribulations—Vs. Omega, aged into a bitter and wrathful guitarist living in a post-apocalyptic world as the result of a Time Crash instigated partially by them. In a sense, his failure to live up to his own convictions may have very well cost the world dearly. He also seems to be rather upset with the duo, pointing out that he "thought [Boyfriend, Girlfriend and himself] were cool" before his song. Thankfully, his appearance in that mod may not be canon to his mod.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Kapi was frequently mistaken for a wolf prior to the full release of the mod. Less than a week after said full release, the Friday Night Gaming mod began to pick up traction, featuring a character named Loki who's essentially a nicer version of Kapi (being a licensed therapist), and is actually a wolf.
• Memetic Mutation:
  • Mr. Steal Yo Girl^Explanation Kapi's motivation is to, well, steal your Girlfriend, and in the event you lose to him, Boyfriend imagines him doing just that.
  • Daddy Dearest realizing his daughter's new boyfriend is a fucking furry.^Explanation In the Game Over screen, Girlfriend is seen walking away with Kapi, breaking up with Boyfriend. A common joke is Daddy Dearest finding Kapi an even worse match for his daughter than Boyfriend, sometimes even pulling an Enemy Mine with the latter.
  • Boyfriend's meow.^Explanation Near the end of "Nyaw", Boyfriend meows instead of Kapi.
  • The Kapi Challenge / Beat Kapi at his own game^Explanation A popular trend is to defeat Kapi using a real DDR dance pad mapped to a computer keyboard so that players can challenge him in a dance-off.
  • Kapi has been cited for causing an entire arcade to blackout from the intensity of his tapping and causing it to short circuit.
• Viewer Species Confusion: Many people mistook Kapi for a wolf before updated dialogue confirmed that yes, he is a cat.
