- Mis-blamed: Many critics infamously accused the Coca-Cola scene with Lawrence and Beth of being Product Placement, as TriStar Pictures, who distributed the film, were partial owners of the soda brand. Writer Ken Levine disputed this, claiming that the scene was in the original draft as it was before the film was even picked up by Tri-Star.
