• Unintentional Period Piece: Thanks to a severe case of Development Hell, this game become instantly dated on arrival:
  • Meiko's television, Kaito's PC, and the computers in the Internet Cafe still use the old, bulky CRT monitors. Flat screen monitors had largely replaced these by 2010s.
  • The database where you look up Miku's skills still uses VOCALOID2. Its very successor, VOCALOID3, was released in 2011.
  • Kaito's alter ego, "Bakaito" (Idiot Kaito), was a very popular portrayal of him in 2007-2013 era of the Vocaloid fandom. Such depiction has mostly waned after being largely discredited by fans that came after that time.
