• Evil Is Cool:
  • The Benzenes are stylish, competent villains despite starring in a parody film, using mind-games and direct assaults on Zearth's psyche worthy of other intellectual invaders like Alien Mefilas.
  • Ultraman Shadow, a robotic copy of Zearth with a sinister design and powerful combat abilities, who even got to make a return in Ultraman Regulos.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Akiko Fuji playing as the neighbor catching up with MYDO's antics while trying to prove it to the nearby people predated Candace Flynn by a decade.
  • The main Ultra is an inexperienced Ultra with a forward-facing crest and a name starting with Z who uses karate in battle. The captain of the defense team is played by an actor previously portraying a different, more well-known Ultra Series character. The final enemy is a robotic Ultraman who the main Ultra defeats in a Beam-O-War after letting out a Kiai and increasing the beam's output. Is this the plot of the second Ultraman Zearth movie, or the plot of Ultraman Z?
• Moment of Awesome: Zearth's Beam-O-War with Shadow in the finale of the second film, where empowered by the people's cheers, Zearth opens his mouth and lets out a Kiai before unleashing a stronger, x-styled beam that completely obliterates Shadow.
• Woolseyism: Because the Ultra Series was still relatively unknown in the west at the time, the English dub changed some of the Mythology Gags to avoid the joke going over the viewers' heads; for example, the scene where Captain Satsuma recognised Miraclon as familiar was changed to Manabu lampshading the Engrish on his computer screen by saying it's a computer from Portugal, prompting Satsuma to remark that Portuguese sounds romantic.
