  • Alternative Character Interpretation: Why did the slaver continue antagonizing Rori and Xávirac in his last appearance even after seeing he was no match for them? Did he have no sense of self preservation? Was he simply Too Dumb to Live? Or, if his claim of being blinded was true, did he want to die at that point?
    • What is the nature of Xávirac and Tavixis's relationship? Do they like each other, but refuse to admit it? Is it merely a case of mutual respect? Admiration from one or both sides? Also, why were they fighting later on? No answers are given to any of these, only small clues.
    • Why did Rori have sex with his Master near the end of the story? Was it out of curiosity? To prove something to himself? Wanting more of what he experienced the previous night? Because he was jealous that the other pets got it? Was he simply horny? Or was it, at least partially, because he wanted to feel better due to missing Gloria? All of these reasons?
    • In the side story, why did Satiirian change his mind and free the slaves? Was it just because they meant something to his new pet? Did his new pet awaken something in him that he couldn't ignore? Or was he just so disgusted by their treatment and condition that even he couldn't let it slide? Furthermore, why did he slaughter the slavers and burn down the shop? Was it simply because they'd proven incapable of taking proper care of their merchandise, as indicated by the narration? Or did he want to spare others from suffering the same fate?
  • Catharsis Factor: After spending so much of the story afraid and struggling, Rori showing no fear of and beating the shit out of the slaver who caused a lot of his trauma is nothing short of satisfying.
    • In the side story, Satiirian effortlessly slaughtering the remaining slavers and burning the awful place to the ground is absolutely this.
  • Fetish Fuel: With a Pretty Boy protagonist, characters who are required to wear harem outfits and collars, them legally belonging to someone else, exploration of power dynamics, crossdressing, etc., there is tons of this to go around.
  • Narm Charm: The revelation that Xávirac took Rori to a 'Pet Store' to buy clothes and basic amenities earned laughter and amusement from some readers. However, they also commented that it still works in context, since it fits the tone of the scene, the setting of the story, didn't take them out of the experience, and acted as a neat little bit of Worldbuilding.
  • The Woobie: Rori has not had an easy life, even before his life took severe turns for the worse before the start of the story.
