• Crosses the Line Twice:
  • A particular scene in "HORSE" where Mrs. Johnson comes across a homeless man. The scene ends with Mrs. Johnson walking away, having suffocated him with a plastic bag. Most people didn't respond too well to this.
    • People also noted that the homeless man looks pretty handsome ...y'know, for a homeless man.
  • Epic Girlfriend Pranks: The entire video is of Tom pranking his girlfriend to the point where she goes off with someone else. It's heartbreakingly funny, even the ending.
  • "STUPID JUSTIN BIEBER PARODY". For you to get an idea of the video's nature, it was primarily inspired by Justin Bieber's (in)famous comment in which he wondered if Anne Frank would have been a belieber.
  • The ending of "The Wish", where Hedy, unable to con the genie into giving her infinite wishes, forces the genie to give her AIDS. She then tries again with the Grant a Wish Foundation (and fails).
  • In one of his episodes of "CONTENT", Tom watches a video he made as a child, in 2002, of his dad and his uncle on water skis, and is appalled by a joke his dad makes about 9/11.
    Tom's Dad: (in video) "Aww, you'd be blinkin' good in the... New York blinkin'... Twin Towers, wouldn't you?"
    Tom: (in video) What?
    Tom: (present) (Shocked laughter) Okay, yup, so, that's my dad... implying that if I were filming... the September 11th attacks... I would have missed them! A fair assessment, however, IT'S BEEN LESS THAN A YEAR SINCE THEY HAPPENED, DAD!!!
  • #CONTENT as a whole is chock-full of those moments - Tom, Eddie and Elliot are all willing to take Refuge in Audacity and to toss out embarrassing anecdotes:
    • In "The Wrongest GIF Game", the crew each get a prompt for a gif, and then that person reveals the full context for it that the gif would be used for. For the prompt "Victimised", Eddie reveals it was for "being ratio'd for tweeting a photo of his balls on the anniversary of Princess Diana's death". Tom realises his mistake immedietely as the context apparently makes the gif worse. The gif Tom went with? A smug Kim Kardashian saying "It's what she deserved"; cue everyone cry-laughing at the sudden Mood Whiplash.
  • The entirety of Russian Roulette. The main joke of the sketch is Tom's inability to die as he continues to blow his brains out.
  • Invoked in his Surfshark videos, where Tom has outright admitted to making the sketches more and more out of order to see if they'll even ask him to change anything.
  • The "Daft Spunk" song in the Meme Music making video (Happens at 13:47). A song about different words for ejaculating? Disgusting. A Daft Punk song about different words for ejaculating? Hilarious.
  • At the request of one of his Patrons, Tom wrote a ska song... about 9/11.
  • "I Bought Every Weird Sex Toy I Found On Wish" features Tom, well, buying every weird sex toy he finds on Wish and testing them. Tom's bewildered reactions to half of the toys must be seen to be believed.
  • "50 Ban-Worthy Videos in 1" is once again a pretty self-explanatory title. Examples of video ideas demonstrated are "Explained: How The Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand Led to Tentacle Hentai", "How much chocolate can my dog eat??????", "Real Life Hunger Games but with Nursery Children", and who could forget "Top 10 Bread (gone SEXUAL)"?
  Tom: Now what I really like about the baguette is that when you're done with it, you can just empty it right out. [He pours semen out of the baguette, and then laughs] ...This is.. This is the worst thing I have ever done, in my life!
• Memetic Mutation:
  • "Tomska is my favourite animator!"^ExplanationDespite his most recognizable works (asdfmovie and Eddsworld Legacy) being web animations, Ridgewell isn't an animator - he's just the writer/director/producer, the animation's being done by other people. After the animation itself was misattributed to him a few times, the fans started jokingly referring to him as an animator.
  • "X went in The Hole." ^note  Check the comments in almost any TomSka skit, someone will refer to The Hole.
• Moe: Mr. Tibbles from "Imaginary Friend" is this to quite a few people. Being voiced by JaidenAnimations certainly helps.
• Shallow Parody: His parody of Castlevania is a sitcom about a vampire and his teenage daughter with none of the elements from Castlevania.
• Special Effects Failure: An Enforced Trope in Baby With A Gun 2, where a tower building explodes at the end, but it's represented with a very simplistic, superimposed, obviously fake stock explosion; Tom initially went for a much more realistic explosion and destruction sequence, but the video released very close (as in, less than three days close) to the very real Manchester Arena bombing), so it was heavily toned down at the last minute so as to not cause offense.
• Squick:
  • The image that Tom displays when he mentions "the Toelympics" in "TOMSKA'S OLYMPICS EMPORIUM".
  • In I'm Bad At Meeting Fans we have the pubic hair cupcakes. There isn't really much we need to say about that aside from the self explanatory name.
• Stylistic Suck: The #CONTENT episode where Tom and Eddie look at Rule 34 art of animated characters has some drawings that fall under this. Special mention goes to the drawing of Rose Quartz and a pregnant Lightning McQueen.
• Visual Effects of Awesome: "Salon Shootout", "Christmas Demolition", "First Date", the list goes on.
