- Broken Base: The part where Pinkie starts to torture Dan*. Some fans liked it, while others found it extremely out of character for Pinkie.
- Crazy Is Cool: Dan and Pinkie Pie are both this on their own, but put to together and you got the ultimate Crazy-Cool duo. The Pancake Launcher, anyone?
- Crosses the Line Twice: Much of the humor is this.
- Jerk Ass Woobie:
- Dan may be a violent, crazy Jerkass, and the patron saint of Hair-Trigger Temper and No Indoor Voice, but considering being told that he was a mistake and the source of all his parents problems at the age of two, was the high point of his childhood, not to mention being kept in a cage for hours at a time till he outgrew it and his parents put shackles on him, it is understandable that he wouldn't be right in the head. And this isn't even getting into his status as Cosmic Play Thing. By the end of his story, Pinkie is so horrified, she goes into panic mode, wondering how she could blame him for what the world tuned him into.
- The waitress at Lenny's.
- Moral Event Horizon: Terry-Man eventually crosses it, when he takes his obsession with Dan to the point of savagely beating Dan and Pinkie and threatening to blow up Pinkie's head if he didn't surrender, only to try and kill them all, including Elise and Chris (the latter of who, actually tried to make peace with and even comfort Terry) even after Dan surrendered.
- They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Though it doesn't hurt the story too much, the author having to remove all non-public domain songs, due to Fimfiction.net's policy, really takes a lot away from chapters that made heavy use of said songs.
