• Awesome Music: The fast-paced guitar instrumentals in-between The Wise One's wisdom.
• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: As mentioned on the trivia page, the film was originally going to be several shorts eventually compiled into an anthology film, with the success of each one funding it's successor. As such, the scenes which eventually became "Tango Schmango," "Push Comes To Shove" and "The Wiseone" have little to do with the rest of the plot.
• Crosses the Line Twice: A hotel where heartbroken people go to commit suicide? Not funny. Introducing said hotel through a jaunty little soft-shoe jazz number? Now it's funny.
• Tear Jerker: "Home" and "Be My Only Love."
