YMMV / The Trouble with Harry

• Adaptation Displacement: As usual for Hitchcock, the film is better-known than the original Jack Trevor Story novella.
• Angst? What Angst?: Jennifer is not really upset upon finding Harry dead. Though they were married, she did not care for him due to his indifference to her most of the time.
• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The original release made more money in Europe, among moviegoers used to this kind of Black Comedy, than in America, among moviegoers expecting thrills and suspense like those of Strangers on a Train or Rear Window.
