YMMV / The Simpsons: Bart & the Beanstalk

• The Problem with Licensed Games: It has almost nothing to do with The Simpsons, featuring only Bart, Homer, Marge, and Mr. Burns as characters; even the iconic theme song is absent. The platforming physics are dicey, the levels aren't interesting or fun, it suffers from bad physics and severe Screen Crunch, and it isn't even the Fractured Fairy Tale you'd expect from The Simpsons—it's a completely straight retelling. It does have a soundtrack that's leagues above Imagineering's extremely hit-and-miss offerings for the same console, though it's still not much to write home about.
