• Crosses the Line Twice: Ban turning to stone while complaining he has to pee. And then he starts pissing once he's completely petrified.
• Harsher in Hindsight: A lot of the humor at Jericho's expense comes from the other Knights of Liones thinking she's a pervert due to circumstances beyond her control, such as thinking she's having an Immodest Orgasm due to a fly going down her throat. Then Four Knights of the Apocalypse has her undergo Sudden Sequel Heel Syndrome by joining Camelot due to being in love with Ban's son Lancelot, feelings she knows are pedophilic in nature that even she's disgusted by which prompted her leaving Liones in the first place to be away from him, but is desperate enough for him to reciprocate that she backs Arthur so that she can be with a version of Lancelot closer in age to her in his new world.
• Heartwarming in Hindsight: One of Ban's crimes is that he ate the whole world's supply of twinkies. Just a random factoid for laughs out of universe, right? Then we learn that he stole them all to share with Elaine.
• Heartwarming Moments:
  • Bubbles getting mad when Gulia insults Veronica.
  • Ban protecting Elizabeth.
  • King getting furious when Helbram attacks Diane.
• Tear Jerker:
  • Elaine's death.
  • The Mind Rape Dreyfus is subjected to by Gowther. It shows that for all him being a Laughably Evil General Ripper, deep down he truly cares for the kingdom and regrets having his brother killed. The sight of him breaking down crying begging for forgiveness as everyone he knows tells him he's "too late" is a rather pitiable sight.
• Unpopular Popular Character:
  • In-universe, nobody except Elaine can stand Ban, and even that's questionable at times. Given how hilarious he is, it's no surprise that he's the audience's favorite.
  • Gowther is also hated by everyone in-universe, and is also incredibly popular with the fans.
