• Fridge Brilliance: Some of the major factions can be matched in antagonist pairs.
  • The United States Army — The New Confederacy: US Army remnants VS CSA nostalgists. Self-explanatory.
  • Woodbury — The Bennet Clan: Two factions consisting in militias defending territories controlled by local, de facto independent powers. Woodbury is based around the eponymous city, while the Bennet Clan is an extended family of rednecks.
  • The Church of Our Saviour — The Aryan Brotherhood: Two factions emulating different periods of European history, with The Church resembling medieval knights while the Aryan Brotherhood resemble Nazi soldiers. The two generally have opposite connotations.
• Goddamned Bats:
  • Infected are initially dangerous since they travel in pack and you're alone, but once you manage to acquire a firearm, a stock of ammunition and a party of ranged unit, they quickly turn into little more than walking XP.
  • Parties of infected animals. Each battle involves only a couple of them, but they are fast. To add insult to the injury, each animal is technically a mount without rider, which means that attacking them doesn't raise the weapon proficiency and killing one doesn't grant experience.^note there is still global experience earned at battle's completion, but no XP gained for individual kills
• Good Bad Bugs: The hanged persons in some settlements aren't human-shaped props but real NPCs who can be interacted with (they have the same lines that regular guards). That's not all: in the opening quest of the mod^note the "merchant's brother quest from Warband, rewritten to fit the new setting, during the fight in Camp Bastion at the end of the quest, the two hanged women suddenly jump out of their ropes and take part in the brawl.
