- Bizarro Episode: The Prisoner is generally bizarre, but this is an odd one from a production viewpoint. Number Six is played by Nigel Stock after a mind-swap. He's on a "mission" for the Village, a concept they considered but never really revisited. There's the revelation that Six is a Celibate Hero because he has a never-mentioned-before-or-again fiancée, which contradicts even the little we know about him already. Even the opening credits are different.
- Fanon Discontinuity: Thanks to the... unusual and never-again mentioned revelations and the general feeling that they tend to contradict the Prisoner we know and the series' premise, and the absence of Patrick McGoohan, this episode is so broadly disregarded by fans that it's easy to forget that it isn't actually subject to Canon Discontinuity as well.
