YMMV / The Outlaws IS Coming!

  • Crosses the Line Twice: The Indians being stereotyped Hollywood Natives? Should be in poor taste. The Indians communicating through smoke signal versions of Morse Code? Hilarious.
  • Fair for Its Day:
    • The Native Americans may be stereotyped, but that's part of the film's parodying Western cliches, while occasionally subverting them. Also, while they become a threat when the Chief declares war and sends his warriors to attack towns and settlements, they're given legit reasons as the villains are killing their buffalo and egging them on to go to war by selling them weapons. Once the Stooges bring back the buffalo, the Chief calls off the war and even gives them a handshake, which he'd refused the villains due to not trusting them.
    • While Annie Oakley grabs the Distress Ball near the end so Ken can save her at the climax, she's still the most competent fighter at the heroes' side and even tries to put up a fight as she's being captured before the villain knocks her down.
  • Inferred Holocaust: Before the heroes convince the Indian Chief to cancel the attack and call off his soldiers, a large number of them is seen approaching towns and camps, implying they attacked and killed several civilians. This being a comedy, they might have been called off in time though.
