• Acting for Two: Emil Sitka plays three roles: Mr. Abernathy, the Witch Doctor and the Cavalry Colonel.
• Casting Gag: In a clever bit, the actors playing the outlaws were the hosts for the various Three Stooges shows on local TV markets.
• End of an Era: The last theatrically released Three Stooges film of the 6 that were made during their TV-driven resurgence in the 60s' and the last fully-realized Stooge work to feature Larry, Moe and Curly Joe (the TV pilot Kook's Tour was in production in 1970 when Larry had his career-ending stroke; the footage that had already been shot was released on Super 8 home film in 1975).
