• Ensemble Dark Horse:
  • Best Wishes Abridged was immediately their most viewed and liked video when it was released, likely due to the Pokemon connection and its release before Best Wishes reached America.
  • Other People's Wedding Videos Abridged got a lot of positive response, and many people wanted a second episode despite it being an April Fools' Day joke.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: During a 2020 stream where Thorn, Yoshi and Jacob watch all of the team's abridging videos up to that point, they agree that they couldn't make a sequel to SAHNIK without ruining its magic. The very next year, they did anyway, and many of the comments said it was even better than the first.
• Shallow Parody:
  • The "MSPaint Pokemon thing", by Thorn's admission. It was supposed to be a parody of Sgt Frog MSPaint parody maker BMNC and her fans, but nearly all of that was lost since Yoshi and Thorn were working on Mystery Dungeon Abridged at the time and instead made it a Pokemon video.
  • Their first two Pokemon one-shots were also surface-level and aren't looked back on positively. Yoshi admits that Best Wishes Abridged only parroted what everyone else said about Pokemon at the time, and they didn't add anything new.
