• Alternate Character Interpretation:
  • After finding out about Lainie's nature of a vampire, one has to question how many legitimately cared for her? Did some already care for her, but her powers merely amplify their feelings?
  • Algard. Did he launch his coup because he honestly think it was the best way to change the kingdom? Was just lashing out at everything to sate his hatred? Or was he trying to take himself out of the running for the throne, either by dying or ruining his reputation so thoroughly that it would be impossible to push the throne onto him?
  • Combining the two above: how much did Algard really care about Lainie? Despite him using her to fulfil his goals and nearly killing her in cold blood, Lainie still claims that the affection he showed her before that was genuine; for what it was worth, Algard also confided a lot in her, and seemed to regret having to kill her. Was the entire thing an incredibly convincing act, and Lainie merely seeing him through rose-colored glasses due to her prior loneliness, or was Algard just too devoted to his goals to stop his plan despite genuinely caring about her?
• Esoteric Happy Ending: The anime adaptation ends on a relatively happy note despite the heart wrenching battle that occurred before, but it seems to forget that ultimately Euphie is destined to outlive the woman she loves and will inevitably forget of the happy times they've spent together. While Anis says she'll find a way to fix the situation, she isn't the first person to have tried and the possibility that she will is incredibly unlikely.
• Fan Nickname: Due to the existing title being really long, it is commonly abbreviated to "MagiRevo" in fan communities.

  • There are several Lycoris Recoil fans, as the anime started airing not too long after LycoReco wrapped up, and they turned to this for another yuri fix. Several people have already noted the comparisons between the main couples.
