• Broken Base: Aya and Italy's relationship, lots of fans like it but other's disliked that as the years went by Italy's sexuality went through a lot of changes before settling on lesbian and retconing all her pervious sexual encounters with men into being just teasing. It also seems the author themselves wasn't sure what the twos relationship was.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Amy is an accidental dead-ringer for Sydney from Grrl Power, who appeared several years after her debut.
