• Acclaimed Flop/Cult Classic: It received good reviews but couldn't hack it in the ratings. Those who did watch it back in the day still seem to regard it fondly. When Jeff Goldblum was asked about it in a Hot Ones episode by the host — whose dad was a fan — Goldblum recounted an anecdote of a black-tie event at which Bill Clinton told him "I never missed an episode of Tenspeed and Brown Shoe." Conan O'Brien first became a fan of Goldblum when he watched the show in its original run. Since then, several generations of Goldblum fans have sparked enough interest in the show to make DVD and streaming releases feasible.
