• It's Short, So It Sucks!: A common criticism, albeit not unusual for the genre. A normal playthrough seems to generally take about 2 hours.
• Once Original, Now Common: While still positive, the game has received a noticeably more lukewarm reception compared to Gone Home, including from many outlets that lavished unprecedented praise on Gone Home when it came out. This can be attributed to the "narrative exploration experience"/"walking simulator" genre being much more commonplace now than when Gone Home was released, and thus not as new and exciting to the jaded palates of game reviewers as it used to be.
