• Karmic Overkill: A few readers see Touwa's fate in Suffering, where she ended up as a Hikikomori as cruel for the fact that she was ultimately coerced and raped by her own stepbrother instead of willingly cheating on her then boyfriend like the other girls of the anthology, and the shunning felt like victim-blaming than Touwa actually getting comeuppance for cheating to these readers.
• Magnificent Bastard: (Chapter 17: "Retaliation"): The protagonist Kosuke, upon realizing that his wife Yui has been cheating on him with, and impregnated by, his own father, decides to seek revenge. Taking his father out for drinks to celebrate "his" child, he gets himself just drunk enough to convince his also-drunk father to drive. Then he hijacks the car and crashes it into a location he carefully calculated to allow him to survive but kill his father, also having shorted out the airbag beforehand. In the hospital, after learning his father survived, he keeps calm and tricks Yui and the Doctor into thinking it was a drunk driving accident, then learns his father has been rendered a vegetable and takes the opportunity to torture him. Finally, he hires an attorney, gathers evidence of the affair, divorces Yui, and wins custody of Aya while financially devastating Yui and his father, going on to raise Aya as his little sister.
