In the hospital, after learning his father survived, he keeps calm and tricks Yui and the Doctor into [[MakeItLookLikeAnAccident thinking it was a drunk driving accident]], then learns his father has been rendered a vegetable and takes the opportunity to torture him. Finally, he hires an attorney, gathers evidence of the affair, divorces Yui, and wins custody of Aya while financially devastating Yui and his father, going on to raise Aya as his little sister.
