• Crazy Is Cool: The Theans. A race of future predicting rabbit people who fight using Humongous Mecha the size warships with stealth and FLT capabilities.
• Crosses the Line Twice: One of the Imperium's quotes mentions that a plan to beat the Drakens would only have suffer a 12-1 kill ratio.
• Evil Is Cool: The Imperium. It's the Imperium of Man with nearly every trope attached to it you can you think of that didn't already apply to it, it's inevitable it turned into this.
• Funny Moments: Some of the Imperial Icons displaying just how much they embody the We Have Reserves mentality, considering that they felt a 12:1 kill ratio against the Drakens was acceptable loss rate as long as they won, and that they only method of dealing with Chedan ships is having entire fleets ramming them.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The Warhammer 40,000 Mirror Universe fanfic Brighthammer 40,000 had the idea of super pacifist Orks, this game effectively runs with the idea.
• Moral Event Horizon: The Empress of Man, being an Expy of the God Emperor does this over and over. Probably her biggest however, was causing the Eternal Night, 3000 years where entering Null Space would destroy anything that ship that attempted to, to prevent rebelling Gens from reaching Earth, which cut off all planets from each other as well and destroyed the previous space faring civilizations, just so she could later reconquer everything.
• Nightmare Fuel:
  • As over the top as the setting gets, it likes to go into details on EVERYTHING, which include exotic diseases and their effects, or how the use of Mastery can drive even a Strike Legionnaire insane.
  • Descriptions of the cybernetic implants gives description what parts of the body are replaced by them, such the outside of the subject's bones.
• So Bad, It's Good: This game rips off so many elements from other franchise, it has been compared to Limbo of the Lost. Unlike the latter, however, it's really fun to play, thanks also to some good gameplay mechanics.
