- Complacent Gaming Sy Ndrome: The metagame seems to gravitate heavily towards using Azerlete over Lemulene, due to the former having a faster movement speed and attacks (especially Discharge and Assault attacks) that come out much quicker.
- Suspiciously Similar Song: The opening bars of "SkyHigh Crusader", the stage 5 theme, has a guitar part that sounds like "Steel of Destiny".
- Underused Game Mechanic: There's a variety of useful widgets that can be shown on the sides of the screen such as character starts, a system clock for those prone to forget about real time, and points needed until the next extra life. Unfortunately, if the game is set to vertical orientation (for use on a monitor rotated 90 degrees), something a Shmup enthusiast is likely to use if they have a monitor they can lay on its side, these widgets are not available.
