• Crosses the Line Twice: Jacques and his spy, the Blind Man, are standing at a statue of Hercules, overseeing the coming storming of Versailles:
  Jacques: What else did you learn?
  Blind Man: They're moving new troops into the palace. They say it might be tonight.
  Jacques: How many?
  Blind Man: Well, how do I know?? I'm blind!
  Jacques: Alright, alright! Get back to the observation post, and keep your eyes open!
  Blind Man: Right, Jacques!
• Cult Classic: Likely because of the famous historical setting, and that it's one of the few spoof movies of the '70s that wasn't directed by Mel Brooks.
• Retroactive Recognition: Helene de Sisi is played by Rosalind Knight, who would later be best known for playing Beryl Merit in Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Georgina Morley in the 1992 TV version of One, Two, Buckle My Shoe, and Horrible Grandma in Friday Night Dinner.
