• Awesome Moments: Hogstrong's actions in the third episode of the Starbarians: he first find the courage to stand up for the inhabitants of Pangaia against his own best friend Killgar, then he musters the inner strengh to spare Killgar The Reason You Suck speech to ask for his help, and then locks the ship in course to the planet of Pangaia with two Badass Boast, one after the other:
  We're STARBARIANS! And that's a silly team name we just kinda made up. It doesn't mean we're heroes, but does it mean we're bad guys?
  Well, for your sake Killgar, if we're not doing this for glory, be damn sure it's about to get gory! Computer! Lock a course for Pangaia! I'll be ready in five...
• Jerkass Woobie: Killgar may be a Nominal Hero, but it's hard not to feel bad for him at the end of Killgar's Kode - How to Survive Anything. He was mocked by members of his own race for being unable to grow bio-armor in spite of it not giving any evolutionary advantage, and it's clear that being the last of his kind is rough and he misses his dad dearly.
• Nightmare Fuel: The third episode of Starbarians establish how Hogstrong himself is the force keeping, even slightly, the Starbarians on the side of good. Go figure how much a bunch of jerks and evil screw-ups they would be if left on Killgar's devices.
